FAQ

Will my child be required to wear soccer cleats?

Part of the HPA experience and ensuring that a safe professional experience is being properly equipped for practices and games. Uniforms (Adidas or no brand name black shorts and black socks), shin guards, and cleats are required to participate. Also please bring your own ball (size 3).

What will be the extent of the players' practices and games?

Practices will start with a warm up. After the warm up, drills will mainly be technical (dribbling, passing, etc) as this is the most important skill they need to work on during this age. To close practice we will end with a game.

Games will consist of 10 minute quarters with a 5 minute break in between each quarter. Coaches will be reffing the game and giving instructions to the players at the same time. We will not be keeping score, but we will highly encourage that every player tries their absolute best at all times.

How long will practices be?

Practices will be an hour long.

Can I watch my child play?

Absolutely. Parents are welcome to view the practices and games from the designated viewing areas.

Will there be a gate fee to enter Granite Park Sports Complex?

YES, THERE WILL BE A GATE FEE FOR ENTERING GRANITE PARK SPORTS COMPLEX. PLAYERS WILL GET IN FREE.
